At Beaut Interiors, every project in Williamsburg and the greater Hampton Roads area begins with a paid initial consultation — a focused, working meeting that typically runs no more than two hours, depending on the scope of your project. During this visit, we take measurements and photos, gather notes, and talk through your budget based on your goals and design preferences.

Once we've collected everything we need, we prepare a custom proposal to kick off your project. After the proposal is signed and a deposit is received, Beaut Interiors gets to work turning your vision into reality.

Depending on the scope of your project, our interior design services can include:

Once these design elements are gathered, we present our ideas directly to you. You'll review the options and make selections to move the project forward. From there, Beaut Interiors manages every detail — ordering, construction administration (common in remodels and new builds), and installation across every area of your project.

Our Step-by-Step Interior Design Process

1. Consultation

Billed hourly and prorated for time on-site, this working meeting is where we take measurements and photos and gather key information about your project. Payment is due at the end of the consultation.

2. Design Fee Proposal

A flat-fee proposal covering the time needed to research, curate, and present design options for your space. A 50% deposit is required to begin, and the process typically takes 3–4 weeks to complete. Your design fee includes 2–3 design options plus one round of revisions. The remaining balance is due at the time of presentation.

3. Order

Once you've made your selections at the presentation, we place all orders within the week — keeping your project moving without delay.

4. Procurement & Administrative Contract

This hourly, prorated contract covers the time required to manage lead times, coordinate deliveries, and oversee installation. It's billed monthly until your project is complete.
